Coed Volleyball Tournament Set at County Center

Registration is now open for the annual Westchester County Coed Volleyball Tournament, to be held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, April 18, 19 and 20, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. each night, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.



The tournament is open to men and women, 18 years of age and older, who are members of organized volleyball teams, such as corporations, clubs, recreation centers or local “Ys.” The tournament will be played in Round Robin format on Tuesday, with a double-elimination format to determine the top teams on Wednesday.

The United States Volleyball Association rally rules will be in effect during play, and the tournament will be played in two levels of competition: recreation and power recreation. Awards will be given to the winning teams and runners-up in each division.

There is a registration fee of $195 per team, and play will be limited to the first 20 teams registered in each division. Deadline for registration is Thursday, April 14.

The Coed Volleyball Tournament is sponsored by Westchester County Parks.

The Westchester County Center is located at the junction of Tarrytown Road, Central Avenue, and the Bronx River Parkway in White Plains. Parking is $4.
