Cronehenge On Hudson

July 29, 2005

The megalithic ruin known as Cronehenge stands on the open downland of Benedict Boulevard in the Harmon section of Croton-on-Hudson. It is not a single structure but consists of a series of earth, Re-bar, and concrete structures that were excavated over a period of two weeks during the summer of 2005 because of a water main replacement project (click photo to enlarge).
