Not sure whether I read it here on crotonblog or in the weekly Gazette but I find it extremely interesting …
Did anyone else consider that we have not one, but two, octonogerians living right here in Croton. We’re a village of about 7,000 people, give or take a few, and we have two wonderful one-hundred year olds living among us. Barbara Chase and Ed Rondthaler have both lived here for over 1/2 their long lives - south of Indian Point, adjacent to the Croton Dump, and blocks away from the Metro Enviro site? Does this tell us anythng about health hazards in the village?

I’ve sent my check for $50.00 to the address provided. ~ $1.00 a week is the best bargain around. This blog provides a valuable service particularly for Croton residents. I’m sure there’s a wider audience as well, but for those of us who luvcrtn, this site is invaluable. It’s a great venue for knowledgeable people to correct minsinformation that might be given by individuals with personal or political stakes in an issue. They sometimes may alter facts to satisfy their own particular agendas. It’s also is a needed forum for healthy debate between people on opposite sides of any given issue. Thank you Crotonblog.
