All castles must be completed by 5:00 PM, when the judging will begin. Prizes or awards will be given for each group. Call the Village of Croton-on-Hudson Department of Recreation at 271-3006 or visit the Village website for more information on this and other upcoming events.

This is fantastic and one more very good reason for “luvin’crtn”. I’ve heard that years ago, the recreation department conducted a “Family Fun in the Sun Day” at Silver Lake with swimming races and all. Sounds like a great idea. Anything we can do to foster and encourage communiity “togetherness” and neighbor meeting neighbor gets my support.
Remember the inspiring graduation talk at the PVC graduation ceremony given by young Sarah Dinger who said “family” was the most important for our young people as they grow and mature - biological family, school family, community family all working together and supporting one another. She was right!
