Back to The Future Screens at Kensico
Moviegoers can enjoy the late summer evening as they picnic and enjoy Back to the Future, the last of the “Screenings Under the Stars” Free Outdoor Movie Series, on Thursday, August 25 beginning at sundown at the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.
Prior to the start of the movie, there’ll be plenty of entertainment to keep everyone busy. From 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., children and adults of all ages can enjoy the music of instrumentalist Joe Jacobe, followed by spirited games and contests at 6:45 p.m. led by Club Fit’s Energy Team, who will get the crowd hopping and prizes will be raffled off each night. Then, from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., you can jam to the mobile music mixer Paul Vito.
Moviegoers should bring blankets, folding chairs and a picnic to enjoy on the Kensico lawn. Refreshments will also be for sale throughout the event. In case of inclement weather, the movie will be shown indoors at the County Center in White Plains, with seating accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Kensico Dam Plaza is located at the north end of the Bronx River Parkway in Valhalla and can be reached via the Route 22 or the Taconic State Parkway.
