The Croton-Harmon Varsity Boys football team (1-2 overall, 1-0 in league play) recorded its first win of the season, and in the league, against visiting Magnus on Saturday 17-7. Croton built on its impressive Week 2 running performance by gaining 401 yards of total offense including an amazing 317 yards on the ground. The Tiger offense featured a pair of 100 yard rushing performances – 171 by Matt Forzaglia and 106 by Chris Perez.
The defense also turned in its best effort of the season holding the Falcons to just 188 total yards on offense and one score. It was a solid effort all the way around for the Tigers. Next up is an away game this Saturday at 2:30 PM at Westlake (1-2) in Thornwood, NY.
