Tigers Face Powerful Dobbs in League Quarterfinal

The Croton Harmon Tigers play regular season league champion the Dobbs Ferry Eagles in a Class C quarterfinal playoff tomorrow, October 22, 2005 at 2 PM at Gould Park, Ashford Avenue, Dobbs Ferry. Please come out and catch the game if your schedule permits!

Game Preview: The Eagles (6-0), the defending state champions, defeated the Tigers (1-5) in the season opener 49-0. Dobbs, which features a very balanced team, will bring in a defense that has given up just 27 points with 2 shutouts, and an offense that averages 265 yards rushing per game.

The Tigers, who have improved consistently throughout the season, bring league leading passer senior Eric Berger and league leading receiver junior Ben Feldman along with a defense that is anchored by league co-sack leader senior Sal Alesi. The Tigers have averaged a very respectable 212 yards total offense per game this season.
