Halloweeen Hijinks at Muscoot Farm

October 27, 2005

Celebrate Halloween at Muscoot Farm with a Tractor Party and “Boo Walk,” on Sunday, October 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Get dressed up with your kids in your favorite costumes and come see some smoke belching beasts — the antique tractors of the Yorktown Iron and Smoke Club. Then experience a hayride or take your youngsters for a non-scary Halloween “Boo Walk” scavenger hunt. The fee for the hayride is $2. Admission and parking are free. No advance registration is required.

Muscoot is a Westchester County Park located on Route 100 in Somers and can be reached via I-684, exit 6. Go west on Route 35 to Route 100 and turn left; the farm is one-and-a-half miles down on the right. The park is accessible to the disabled with assistance. For more information, call (914) 864-7282 or log on to www.westchestergov.com/parks.
