I received word from the Astorino campaign a few days ago that a concerned citizen had e-mailed them in regard to roadside signs that are still up in the village. Since receiving the forwarded e-mail I have heeded the call and made an effort to take down the “Rob Astorino for County Executive” signs that were put up by campaign volunteers.
I think I got them all, but if your readers know of other locations where signs are still up please let me know and I will take them down ASAP. While I cannot physically remove the signs for other candidates (non-republicans), I can and will contact their campaigns. I think we can all agree that Croton looks best when its streets are not littered with signage, and those who place signs around the village should be proactive in removing them once the election is over. Residents who have locations of signs that need to be removed should feel free to e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or to call me on my cell phone, (914) 450-9707.
