Police Blotter - Week of November 28th
December 6, 2005
November 29
7:43 PM: There was a report from a resident of Brook Street that there were youths on the porch of a neighboring house who were lighting fireworks. Patrol responded and was unable to locate the youths in question but did find a burned snack bag on the porch where the youths were reported to have been. The matter is under investigation.
November 30
8:25 AM: Detectives arrested a 16-year-old Ossining youth for Grand Larceny for the theft of a car from Grand Street which was later found in Ossining (see blotter from November 21, 2005). The youth turned himself in at police HQ and was later arraigned by the judge and released to a parent. The individual is due in Village court on December 7, 2005 at 9:30 AM.
10:05 AM: At police HQ, detectives arrested an 18-year-old former Croton resident on bench warrant. The individual failed appear in Village court in the past. Later that day after being arrested on the said bench warrant, the woman was taken to Village court.
December 3
6:02 PM: A fire alarm was activated at an Old Post Road North residence. Patrol and Fire Department responded and determined that the alarm was set off by steam.

if they found evidence on the porch where the youths were reported to have been, how about questioning the youths in the house?
