Croton Board of Trustees Meeting Set for January 17

The regularly scheduled Village of Croton-on-Hudson Board of Trustees Meeting is set for Tuesday, January 17th and is simulcasted to Cablevision customers on ch. 78 beginning at 8:00 pm.

The linked agenda, which follows, includes a public hearing in consideration of Local Law Introductory No. 1 of 2006 which would add a chapter on professional fees, a letter from Planning Board Chair Ann Gallelli in regards to a Referral on Amortization and Third Post-Comprehensive Plan Phase of zoning changes (see: “The Minority Report”), and a resolution to determine the Village’s need for the property owned by Greentree Realty, LLC, 1A Croton Point Avenue (map), Section 78.16 Block 2 Lots 1 and 2 as the first step in the process of taking the property (see: “Metro Enviro”) by eminent domain.

  3. Authorizing the Village Manager to sign the letter of Agreement with Arnold & Porter to reflect its adjusted fee schedule.

  4. Setting the date and location of the 2006 Village election.

  5. Authorizing the Village Manager to sign the amended lease agreement with the Croton Arboretum and Sanctuary, Inc. reflecting the incorporation of the property formerly owned by Mann, Section 67.12, Block 1 and Lot 5.

  6. Calling for a Public Hearing on February 6, 2006 at 8pm in the meeting room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building to determine the Village’s need for the property owned by Greentree Realty, LLC, 1A Croton Point Avenue (map), Section 78.16 Block 2 Lots 1 and 2 as the first step in the process of taking the property (see: “Metro Enviro”) by eminent domain.
