9:45 PM: Officer on patrol stopped a vehicle traveling on Route 9 North for vehicle and traffic violations. Upon investigation, police officer arrested a 27-year-old male from Poughkeepsie for Criminal Impersonation; a misdemeanor, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd degree; a misdemeanor and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; a violation. The individual was arrested, brought to Police HQ where he was later released on $250.00 bail and is due in Village Court on February 1, 2006 at 9:30 AM.

10:12 PM: There was a report from a resident of Maple Street about an injured deer on the side of the road. Patrol responded and destroyed the deer. Croton Department of Public Works picked up the animal the next day for disposal.

January 26, 2006

5:30 PM: There was a report of a burglary of some jewelry items from a resident on Radnor Avenue. The matter is under investigation.

January 27, 2006

3:55 PM: County Fire Control requested mutual aid for a structure fire on Ogden Road in Ossining. Croton Fire Department responded to the scene to assist as requested.

11:03 PM: There was a report from a resident of King Street of a heavy gas odor in his basement. Croton Patrol and Fire Department responded to the scene where they assisted the homeowner in turning off the gas and ventilating the premises.
