Indian Point: What Next? Realities and Alternatives...

March 17, 2006

An informational panel is set for Sunday, March 19, 2006 at 1:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Briarcliff, Croton, and Ossining located at 2021 Albany Post Road (Rte 9A), Croton-on-Hudson, New York.

The speakers—Westchester County Legislator Michael Kaplowitz, Darcy Casteleiro of the Indian Point Safe Energy Coalition and Riverkeeper Policy Analyst Phillip Musegaas—will each make a ten-minute presentation and follow with a question and answer session.

According to event organizers, an Entergy spokesperson did not respond to an invitation to participate in the panel. For information about Entergy and the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant, see their website at www.entergy.com.

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Briarcliff, Croton, and Ossining does not endorse either side but endeavors to provide a safe environment for a respectful dialogue and exchange of ideas. They are an open, inclusive religious Fellowship, striving to build a beloved community that fosters the search for personal truth, social justice and spiritual growth.
