Croton Point Avenue Bridge Repairs Underway
March 20, 2006
Last week, the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) commenced work on the Route overpass bridge located at Croton Point Avenue. The repair work—to fix a damaged beam—will be completed by mid-April.
Work is scheduled for Monday thru Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and will cause the center two lanes of Croton Point Avenue to be closed. Therefore, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson has modified street parking regulations to prohibit parking on the north side of Croton Point Avenue when work is underway. Motorists should also be aware that traffic delays may occur and pedestrians should use caution in passing through the work area.
