Writing While Overwhelmed

March 22, 2006

Crotonblog: Letters to the Editor, Croton-on-Hudson, New York 10520
On behalf of Charlie, Sam and myself, we are overwhelmed by your support of our candidacies. Each of us will hope to do the job you want us to do and hope you will be giving us more insight in to what your thoughts are as well. Thank you to all Croton residents for your support.

Indeed the people spoke loud and clear on Tuesday. Congratulations to Ann and Charlie. We will now see if the current slate of trustees along with the mayor will work for the best interests of the village. Our vote is our most powerful resource to effect change when we feel shortchanged.

We can only hope that our newly elected trustees keep the village in mind and keep partisan politics away.

Time for another Reality Check.

On second thought the voters of Croton delivered a real time Reality Check to the Cudequest/Schmidt/Steinberg administration yesterday.

Congratulations to Ann Gallelli, Charlie Kane and Sam Watkins.

And that my friends is Reality Check, checking out for now.

Trustee elect Galleli, it is us who owe thanks to you and Trustee Kane for standing tall in the face of the ugly attacks made against each of you in recent days — most recently by our Mayor, right here in his first post on the Blog.

We wish you good luck in getting Croton moving again and trying to unite the village after this unfortunately divisive campaign.
