Bluesy Rainy Day Music Saturday Night in Croton
April 22, 2006Music fans in the Croton-on-Hudson area are in for a bluesy treat on Saturday, April 22, 2006 when Memphis International Blues Challenge Award Little Toby Walker graces the Ottinger Room stage at the Croton Free Library at 7:30 PM.
An excerpt from his website reveals this: “He is steeped in the tradition of men and women who made their guitar a mirror of the sweat, blood and tears of a life in a cruel yet strangely fulfilling world. Peregrinations of discovery along the crossroads of Mississippi’s famed Delta have wrought profundity and fluidity in his muse.”
The Croton Free Library is located at 171 Cleveland Drive, Croton-on-Hudson, New York (map). Times and dates for this program and others are subject to change without notice. Please call the library at 914-271-6612 for more information.
