May 17

8:31 AM: There was a report from the homeowner at a new construction site on Upper North Highland Place that—sometime overnight—58 windows were smashed, construction equipment was broken and the building structure itself was damaged. The matter is under investigation by Village of Croton-on-Hudson police detectives.

6:22 PM: There was a report from a passing motorist of a vehicle fire on Route 9 North near the Senasqua Road off ramp. Patrol and Fire Department responded to the scene but upon arrival found the fire to be extinguished. The vehicle was later towed away from the scene.

May 19

4:35: There was a report from a woman who was earlier walking on Maple Street with her five-year-old daughter and was approached by an unknown 55 to 60 year-old woman who stopped and said to the effect that she wanted to take the child home with her. Police report that there was NO attempt to abduct the child but at the same time are seeking the woman for questioning.

5:25 PM: There was a report from a passerby of a 1 ½ year old child left unattended in a parked car at the Van Wyck shopping center. Patrol responded to the scene and subsequently spoke with the mother and nanny about the inherent dangers of their actions.

May 20

11:00 AM: There was a report of a tree and wires down on Brook Street. Patrol, DPW and Con Edison responded to the scene to direct traffic, clear the debris, fix the wires and later reopen the road for safe passage.

May 21

12:58 AM: There was report from a resident of Grand Street about loud noise coming from a neighboring party. Patrol responded to the scene and had the party host lower the volume.

7:28 PM: There was a report of a tree and wires down on Mount Airy West near Upland Lane. Patrol, Cortlandt DPW and Con Edison responded to the scene to direct traffic, clear the debris, fix the wires and later reopen the road for safe passage.

7:54 PM: There was a report of a tree and wires down Loconto Street. Patrol, DPW and Con Edison responded to the scene to direct traffic, clear the debris, fix the wires and later reopen the road for safe passage.

9:18 PM: There was a report of a tree down across the Rt. 9 South exit ramp of at Senasqua Road. Patrol and NYSDOT responded to the scene to direct traffic and clear the debris.
