Croton Trustee Charlie Kane—during the June 15, 2006, Village Board meeting—announced to residents that Police Sergeant Richard Corvinus has become certified as a forensic computer examiner. Sergeant Corvinus was in Orlando, Florida for two weeks where he completed a program that was presented by the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS).
The IACIS is an international volunteer non-profit corporation composed of law enforcement professionals dedicated to education in the field of forensic computer science.
