Summer Breeze Makes Me Feel Fine
June 21, 2006Today, at approximately 7:26 AM EDT summer arrived in the Hudson Valley and Eastern time zone.
Today is the Summer Solstice which means it will be the “longest day” of the year. In actuality today will still be 24 hours long but we will enjoy the longest amount of sunshine today of any day duirng the year. The Summer Solstice is celebrated in many ways around the world.
Today in Croton-on-Hudson, it will be sunny with a high of 86 degrees and much less humid than the previous few days. The sun rose at 5:23 AM and will set at 8:32 PM tonight. Enjoy some of the 15+ hours of sunshine today.
