June 26

5:50 PM: There was a report from a resident of Oriole Lane that sometime during the past few days, someone “keyed” his Volkswagen, which was parked in front of his house. The matter is under investigation.

June 27

7:29 AM: There was a report from the owner of the Grand Street Laundromat that sometime overnight someone scorched the ceiling of the store with a butane lighter. The matter is under investigation.

7:40 PM: There was a report from New York Sports Club to report that sometime in the past 24 hours a cell phone was stolen that belonged to one of the members. The matter is under investigation.

7:50 PM: There was a report from a resident of Half Moon Bay that while his car was parked overnight, his car cover was stolen from his vehicle. The matter is under investigation.

10:03 PM: There was a report from several residents at Half Moon Bay about fireworks being lit in the area. Patrol responded to the scene and was unable to locate anyone in the area.

June 28

11:33 AM: The contractor of a house on Church Street reported that sometime overnight someone threw a rock at a window. The matter is under investigation.

2:25 PM: There was a report from a resident of Park Avenue that the electrical wire going to her house that were arcing and sparking. Patrol, Fire Department and Con Edison responded to the scene to remedy the matter.

June 29

12:57 PM: There was a complaint of unleashed dogs in the area of the Croton River near Nordica Drive. Patrol responded to the scene and advised the pet owners to leash their dogs as per Village ordinance.

1:57 PM: There was another complaint of unleashed dogs in the area of the Croton River near Nordica Drive. Patrol responded to the scene and advised the pet owners to leash their dogs as per Village ordinance.

June 30

7:35 AM: There was a report of a resident in the area of Thompson Avenue of a homeowner cutting their lawn before 8:00 AM. Patrol responded to the scene and advised the person in question to wait until 8:00 AM as per the Village noise ordinance.

9:15 AM: There was a report of an injured deer in the roadway near Shop Rite on South Riverside Avenue. Patrol responded to the scene, destroyed the animal and notified DPW to pick up the remains.

12:19 PM: There was a report of a vehicle that was parked in a handicapped section of the Shop Rite parking lot that was leaking gasoline. Patrol and Fire Department responded to the scene to clean up the spill.

July 1

2:49 AM: There was a complaint of a large group of youths loitering in front of Sophia’s Restaurant on South Riverside Avenue. Patrol responded to the scene and asked the youths to leave the area.

July 2

9:00 AM: There was a report from a resident of Arlington Drive about a contractor noise. Patrol responded to the scene and advised the person in question to wait until 10:00 AM as per the Village noise ordinance.

12:56 PM: There was complaint of unleashed dogs in the area of the Croton River near Nordica Drive. Park ranger responded to the scene and advised the pet owners to leash their dogs as per Village ordinance.
