Building a Great Wall Takes Time (and Chinese Food Condiment Packages)...
August 4, 2006Now you, residents of Croton-on-Hudson, can deposit your excess packets of hot mustard, soy sauce, and duck sauce in Artist Tom Smith’s “Condiment Receptacle.” Tom will use those “extra” packets to fill the “Great Wall of Chinese Takeout Condiments” that he’s building. Thousands and thousands of takeout condiments… Waste as Art.

The opening reception is set for tonight, Friday, August 4, 2006, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Rutheny’s Brook St. Gallery at 80 Brook Street in Croton-on-Hudson. Tom’s exhibit continues through September 15, 2006. Please call the gallery for regular hours at 914-271-0980.
