Mid Hudson String Orchestra Live from Croton Harmon
The beautiful sounds that you may have missed hearing on Tuesday evening, August 22, 2006, came from the Mid Hudson Community String Orchestra as they performed on the lawn at the Holy Name of Mary Church in Harmon.
The string orchestra, who dedicated their program to Russ Kraft, included a violin, viola, cello section and a double bass player. In their hour-long program, the group played a selection of classics from the likes of Mozart and Bach while tunefully segueing to a variety of Broadway standards from composers like Cohen and Rogers.
