September 19

9:12 AM: There was a report from an employee of Conte Electric on Brook Street that sometime overnight a window was broken on one of their trade vans. The matter is under investigation.

11:05 AM: There was a report of an activated smoke alarm from a building in the Harmon Yard area. Patrol, Croton FD and MTA Police responded to the scene and determined that the cause of the alarm was due to someone cooking food.

10:02 PM: Officer on patrol stopped a vehicle on Rt. 9 North for vehicle and traffic violations. Upon investigation, officer arrested a male 34-year-old resident of Pompano Beach, Florida for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). The man was brought to Police HQ for arraignment while his car was towed from the scene. He was due in Village Court on September 20, 2006 at 9:30 AM.

10:07 PM: There was a report from a resident of Brook Street that sometime overnight someone damaged the paint on his motorcycle. The matter is under investigation.

September 20

5:15 PM: There was a report from resident of Brooklyn that while his car was parked on North Riverside Avenue someone broke his car window with a shot fired from a BB gun. The matter is under investigation.

September 22

6:49 AM: There was a call from County Fire Control about brush fire along the railroad tracks located to the north of the pedestrian overpass near Brook Street. Patrol and croton FD responded to the scene and determined that the fire was accidentally started by track employees working on equipment and was already extinguished.

4:08 PM: There was a report from a resident of Mt. Airy Road that here smoke detector had been activated. Patrol and Croton FD responded to the scene and determined that the cause of the alarm resulted from food burning on the stove.

September 23

6:38 AM: There was a report from a resident of Onieda Avenue that someone threw eggs at her home. The matter is under investigation.

September 24

2:19 AM: There was report from a resident at the croton yacht club that while he was sleeping on the boat, someone tried to enter his boat. Upon waking the boater, the suspect ran off into the night. Upon further investigation, police determined that three boats had been boarded with an attempted theft of a TV and DVD player in one of them. The matter is under investigation.

4:38 PM: The guard at Senasqua Park reported that two people were trying to enter the park without a Village ID pass. Patrol responded to the scene and was unable to locate the party in question.
