The Croton-on-Hudson Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) and the Croton Sustainable Energy Cooperative are pleased to present “Solar Economics 101” at the Ottinger Room at the Croton Free Library on Wednesday, October 18, 2006, 7:30 PM.
Those attending this free workshop will learn how installing a solar energy system can be a low-risk, high-yield investment. CAC member and solar consultant, Lee Streisfeld-Leitner, will explain the basic workings of solar energy systems. Additionally, Lee will demonstrate how doing good for the environment can translate into doing good for your finances.
The CAC presents an occasional series of lectures, film screenings and community discussions to foster an increased understanding of the nature of environmental problems and issues and support for their solutions.
