November 6

2:06 PM: There was a report from a resident of Old Post Road North that sometime during the previous week an antique footbrush was stolen from outside her home. The matter is under investigation.

November 7

2:24 AM: Officer on patrol reported some smashed pumpkins and chunks of asphalt paving were placed in the middle of Maple Street. Patrol cleared the area and the matter remains under investigation.

10:40 AM: Officer on patrol reported that graffiti was recently applied to the pedestrian overpass near Brook Street. The matter is under investigation.

12:34 PM: Officer on patrol reported that graffiti was recently applied to the cement retaining wall on Quaker Bridge Road. The matter is under investigation.

November 8

8:30 AM: Detectives arrested a 23-year-old resident of Croton for filing a false written statement, a misdemeanor. He was booked, processed and late released on his own recognizance. The man appeared in Village Court on November 8, 2006 at 9:30 AM.

11:22 AM: Westchester County Fire Control requested that the fire tanker truck from Washington Engine Company respond to a structure fire on Baptist Church Road in Yorktown.

6:05 PM: Due to the localized flooding, Croton Police and DPW responded to calls on Albany Post Road and erected barricades to safely route traffic.

November 9

9:43 AM: There was a report from an employee of Croton Dodge that a 2003 Dodge Durango was stolen from their lot. The matter is under investigation.

1:28 PM: Alarm company called to report a fire alarm activation to a home on Scenic Drive West. Patrol and croton FD responded to the scene and determined that the cause of the alarm resulted from a contractor sanding in the basement of the residence.

1:40 PM: Croton Recreation Department reported that graffiti was recently applied to their storage facility on Quaker Bridge Road. The matter is under investigation.

4:49 PM: Officer on patrol reported that 3 youths, a 15-year-old Cortlandt resident, a 14-year-old resident of Peekskill, and a 14-year-old resident of Croton were found trespassing in the now defunct Croton Skateboard Park while skateboarding. Officer had the youths leave the area. Croton detective/youth officer is following up on the incident.

11:03 PM: Westchester County Fire Control requested assistance from croton FD with a structure fire on South Highland Avenue in Ossining.

November 10

9:00 PM: There was a report of a disorderly group of youth at the Van Wyck Shopping center outside of CVS. Patrol responded to the scene and had the group leave the area.

November 11

9:31 AM: There was a report from a resident of Cleveland Drive that her two dogs died suddenly. The dog owner believes that the dogs were poisoned. The matter is under investigation.

12:11 PM: There was a report from a resident of North Ledge Loop about smoke in their house. Patrol and Croton FD responded to the scene and determined that a malfunctioning oil burner was the source of the smoke.

November 12

12:29 AM: There was a report of a noisy house party on Brook Street Patrol responded to the scene and asked the homeowner to lower the music without further incident.

7:40 PM: Officer on patrol discovered that graffiti was recently applied to walls of the Picture Tunnel near Senasqua Park. The matter is under investigation.
