Saw Mill River Audubon Now Accepting Environmental Scholarship Applications
The Saw Mill River Audubon recently announced that it is offering summer scholarships for students, age 13 to 17, to pursue environmental studies. The application deadline for consideration of a scholarship is March 15, 2007, with awards set to be announced on April 1, 2007. While the Audubon summer scholarships are not based on financial need, they are awarded based on the interest the applicant has demonstrated in the environment through schoolwork, volunteer work and other activities.
To find out more information about how to apply for an environmental scholarship, please contact Saw Mill River Audubon at (914) 666-6503 for an application or download them from Audubon’s web site at www.sawmillriveraudubon.org.
