Croton Police Blotter - Week of Febuary 19th

February 23
12:56 PM: There was a report from a resident of Quaker Ridge Road that he locked himself out of his vehicle while the engine was running. Patrol responded to the scene and assisted the man in gain access to his car.
4:36 PM: County Fire Control request assistance from the Croton Fire Department for some down wires on Croton Avenue. Croton FD responded to the scene and safe guarded the area until Con Edison arrived to fix the wires.
6:15 PM: County Fire Control request assistance from the Croton Fire Department for a structure fire on Yale Avenue in Ossining.
8:49 PM: There was a report from a resident on Upland Lane about a burning wire smell in their home. Croton Fire Department responded to the scene to investigate.
February 24
7:08 PM: Officer on patrol reported application of new graffiti on the concrete wall near the bridge on Quaker Bridge Road. The matter is under investigation.
10:53 PM: There was a report from a resident of Brook Street about loud noise coming from another apartment within the building. Patrol responded to the scene and asked the tenant in question to be quieter without further incident.
February 25
9:22 AM: There was a report from a resident of Penfield Avenue about loud construction work taking place before 10:00 AM. Patrol responded to the scene and had the worker in question stop work until 10:00 AM as per village noise ordinance.
