March 12

5:40 PM: Officer on patrol discovered the application of additional graffiti to the concrete retaining wall net to the Quaker Bridge. The matter is under investigation.

March 14

1:01 AM: There was a report of a disturbance of a train that originated in New York City. Patrol responded to the scene and found that two people were engaged in an argument that ended when police arrived.

6:34 PM: There was a report of a house fire on Van Wyck Street. Patrol and Croton Fire Department responded to the scene to extinguish the fire.

March 15

7:04 AM: There was a report of a parked car in the Van Wyck shopping center that was leaking gasoline on the parking lot. Patrol responded to the scene and found that the owner of the car had already contacted a tow service, who arrived shortly thereafter. In the process of towing the car, the towing company also cleaned up the gas.

March 16

3:48 PM: There was a report from a resident on Cleveland Drive about a barking dog. Patrol responded to the scene and had the homeowner bring their dog inside.

11:43 PM: There was a report from an employee of Metro North that he had locked himself out of his car while the engine was running. Patrol responded to the scene and assisted the man by gaining access to the locked vehicle.

March 17

12:15 AM: There was a report from a resident of half Moon Bay about smoke in his house that he thought was originating in his chimney. Patrol and Croton Fire Department responded to the scene to investigate.

March 18

12:30 PM: There was a report from a resident of High Street about possible fraudulent use of her debit card. The matter is under investigation.

9:46 PM: Officer of patrol stopped for a disabled vehicle on Route 9 North near Croton Point Avenue. Officer called a towing service and in the meantime the owner of the vehicle arrived and became disorderly. The man, a 23-year-old Bronx resident, was arrested for disorderly conduct and brought to Police HQ. He was later released on his own recognizance is due in Village Court on March 28, 2007 at 9:30 AM.

March 19

3:09 AM: Patrol responded to a residence on Grand Street and subsequently arrested a 32-year-old male with Assault 3rd Degree. The man was brought to Police HQ and later brought to the Peekskill Jail. The next day, the man was brought back to Croton where he appeared before the judge and was posted $500.00 bail. The man is due in Village Court on March 21, 2007 at 9:30 AM.

March 20

8:52 AM: There was a report from an employee from Croton Harmon High School that an electronic balance was stolen from one of the classrooms. The matter is under investigation.
