Croton-Harmon Education Foundation Seeking Grant Applications

Following the awarding of over $30,000 in grants from its Fall grant cycle, the Croton-Harmon Education Foundation (CHEF) is now seeking applications for its Spring grant cycle. If you have an idea, please consider submitting an application yourself, as part of a group, or in conjunction with one or more teachers or administrators. The deadline is April 30, 2007. Applications are available from the foundation website at www.crotonfoundation.org. The allocations will be awarded in June for Fall 2007.

Projects should enhance the learning experience of the children in the Croton-Harmon school district. If you wish to discuss an idea please contact any of the CHEF school liaisons as follows: CET: Debra Schor (914-827-3672, polanskystudios@verizon.net), PVC: Quinn Moss (914-271-8672, qmoss@orrick.com), or CHHS: Liza Parker Migliorelli (914-271-1257, lizaparker@optonline.net).

To spread the word and increase awareness about CHEF and its goals and programs, members of the CHEF Board will be available at the Black Cow to meet interested school district residents on Saturday, April 21, 2007, from 9:30 to 10:30 am and Sunday, April 22, 2007, from 9:30 to 10:30 am.
