There were several separate reports from residents on Truesdale Drive, Morningside Drive and Sunset Drive that approximately nine vehicles that were left unlocked and parked on the street were entered. Police report minor thefts in some of the reported occurrences. The matter is under investigation.

9:45 AM: Croton detectives arrested a 31-year-old male resident of Peekskill for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, cocaine, a felony, on a warrant at the Westchester County Jail. The arrest was part of an ongoing investigation. The man was transported to Croton where he appeared in front of the judge and was subsequently remanded back to jail. The man is due in village court on May 30, 2007 at 9:30 AM.

3:15 PM: Croton police received approximately 80 calls from residents in the village regarding the storm that swept through the area causing down trees, downed wires and damage to property.

May 17

12:06 AM: County Fire Control requested mutual aid from Croton Fire Department for a structure fire on Edwards Street in Ossining.

9:27 AM: County Fire Control requested mutual aid from Croton Fire Department for a structure fire on Beekman Avenue in Sleepy Hollow.

12:15 PM: Croton detectives arrested a 19-year-old male resident of Croton-on-Hudson for 2nd Degree Course of Sexual Conduct with a Child. The man was brought to Police HQ where he was arraigned by the judge, later released on $2,500 bail and is due back in village court on May 23, 2007 at 9:30 AM.

May 18

5:35 PM: There was a report from a resident of Cleveland Drive that sometime overnight someone damaged the hood emblem of his car while it was parked on the street in front of his residence. The matter is under investigation.

May 19

6:55 AM: There were two reports from two residents of Beekman Avenue that sometime overnight both of their mailboxes were damaged. The matter is under investigation.

May 20

10:23 PM: There was a report from a resident of in the area of Emerson Avenue about a loud party. Patrol responded to the scene and asked the homeowner in question to turn the volume down.

11:44 PM: There was another report from a resident of in the area of Emerson Avenue about a loud party. Patrol returned to the scene and issued an appearance ticket to the homeowner as he was in violation of the village noise ordinance. The man in due in village court on May 30, 2007 at 9:30 AM.
