Croton's Summer Concert Series Opens Friday at Senasqua Park

The Village of Croton-on-Hudson recently announced their schedule for the annual summer concert series. The shows are set for Friday evenings at 7:00 PM in Senasqua Park. The rain date is Saturday night, unless otherwise indicated. This year’s line up will be as follows:

• June 29 - Streets of the Bronx
• July 6 - Doc Rock
• July 13 - Sundown Band
• July 20 - Nicole hart & the New Rhythm Groove
• July 27 - Second Wind
• August 3 - Blue Water

Note: All persons 4 years of age or older MUST PRESENT a photo ID issued by the Village of Croton-on-Hudson Recreation and Parks Department to attend any activities—including movies, concerts and shows—at Senasqua Park.

The Summer Concert Series planned and delivered by the staff at the Croton Recreation department are wonderful and we add them to our list of “things we luv about Croton.”

And added to that same list are the beloved and treasured performances of the Croton Children’s Theatre. This year’s productions opened last night in the CHHS auditorim celebrating 40 years of performances. Truly a tribute to the hundreds of children, staff and parents who have made them possible over the many years.

I’ve watched these fantastic shows through the years and tapped my feet along with every parent and grandparent in the audience. Croton is home to what I believe to be the best, prettiest, sweetest, most energetic, most talented and delightful kids around! They have a remarkable presence on stage that reflects so much energy and charisma as to blind those of us sitting in the seats. Kudos to them and to the wonderful adults who have made these performances so special to generations of kids and parents.
