4:42 PM: There was a report from a resident of Brook Street about his car which had the paint “keyed” while parked in front of his house. The matter is under investigation.
8:55 AM: There was a report from a patron at the Black Cow Coffee Company on Maple Avenue that his cell phone was stolen. The matter is under investigation.
2:42 PM: There was a report from a man at the Van Wyck shopping center that a computer printer and a toolbox was stolen from his vehicle. The matter is under investigation.
10:24 AM: There was a report from a resident of Brook Street that sometime overnight a window on her car was broken. The matter is under investigation.
9:10 PM: Officer on patrol found three youths lighting fireworks on Cleveland Drive. The youths were taken to Police HQ where they were later released to their parents.
9:38 PM: Croton Police and Fire Department was called by MTA Police to respond to a report a derailment of an incoming train. As a result of the derailment, two passengers, who suffered minor injuries were taken to Phelps Memorial Hospital in Tarrytown, New York for treatment.
1:32 AM: There was a report of a disorderly group on Brook Street. Patrol responded to the scene and asked them to leave the area.
8:42 AM: There was a report from an employee at Croton Auto Park that a tailgate was stolen from a parked truck in their storage lot. The matter is under investigation.
8:50 PM: There was a report of a disorderly group on Brook Street. Patrol responded to the scene and asked them to leave the area.
There was a report of two disorderly persons on Brook Street. Patrol responded to the scene and asked them to leave the area.
11:50 PM: MTA Police requested assistance from Croton Police with a person on an inbound train surrounding a Grand Larceny. Upon arrival of the train, New York State Police arrived to take the person in question into custody.
11:32 AM: Croton Police were dispatched to Ossining after a request for mutual aid from Ossining Police regarding a large public disturbance.
2:07 PM: Croton police responded to a report of a motorcycle accident on Route 9 North, near the Warren Road overpass. Upon arrival, patrols found a 37-year-old male resident of the Bronx dead on the side of the road in addition to two other vehicles that were struck by the errant motorcycle. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
2:57 PM: Patrol responded to a report of an automobile accident at Municipal Place. During the investigation, officer arrested a 58-year-old resident of Cortlandt Manor with DWI. The man was brought to Police HQ where he was later released after posting $200.00 bail pending an appearance in village court on July 25, 2007 at 9:30 AM.
