CNN's Glenn Beck Hearts Bush with Lavish Praise

September is ‘a coming Bushie… And with it, the report from General Petraeus.

CNN Headline News’s right-wing host Glenn Beck had a personal “off-the-record” meeting with President Bush at the White House. Beck’s insights from this meeting include that Bush “is a man who personally feels the pain of every wounded hero” and has “incredible passion and resolve.”

This is an Op-Ed show, so at least the news isn’t supposed to be presented without a bias. When you talk about the “left-wing bias” of CNN you seem to forget that in the run up of the Iraq War, the reporters never asked the tough questions about the administrations claims of WMD’s in Iraq. It later turned out that the only WMD’s were the Weapons of Mass Deception coming from the Bush Administration.

It should come as no suprise that yet another news source has been connected to right-wing sentiment.

At the same time, let us not be hypocrites. Right-wing sentiment in supposedly “unbiased” news is just as wrong as left-wing sentiment. Its two sides playing the same game and its been that way for some time.

1) The President did actually meet with Cindy Sheehan

2) If Bush really felt the pain of every wounded soldier he would need alot of painkiller

3) For all the people who say that CNN has a “liberal bias”, they need to see Gleen Beck who is definitely not a liberal. CNN and all of the mainstream media failed to ask the tough questions leading up to the Iraq War in fear of being labeled “liberals” and now they are making false claims about Micheal Moore. C-Span is alot better.

4) It’s hard to believe we are in the fight for our survival againgst Iraq who never attacked us. As Joe Biden said its a “Bush Fulfilling Prophecy” because Al Qaeda was never in Iraq until we got there but now that we are there we have an Al Qaeda in Iraq.

5) Why wait till September to realize this War isn’t going well, what we need in Iraq is a political solution not a military one. If you have an open ended commitment (Cheney said that we would still have troops when Bush left office) then the Iraqi’s won’t think they need to step up to the plate.

Doesn’t it make you wonder how and why why the President found time to meet with this guy but not with Cindy Sheehan? Think he’ll find the time to meet with Michael Moore?
