Parking at the Van Wyck Shopping Center Now More Restrictive
September 20, 2007
To the editor,
I am just wondering if anyone else noticed those 15 minute-only parking signs in front of the Black Cow Coffee Shop, Wachovia Bank and the dry cleaners? Very uninviting…

This time limit is ridiculous for 2 of the 3 the businesses served by those spots. The Black Cow is a cafe, not a Jiffy Lube! The PTA and the School Board meet with the community there and people do business, socialize, have meetings. Better yet, try applying for a safe deposit box or mortgage in 15 minutes! This smells like someone thoughtlessly exploiting a revenue opportunity. Isn’t there something more worthy of strict enforcement in Croton?
