September 12

12:55 PM: There was a report from a resident of Grand Street that some time overnight, someone damaged the windshield wipers on her car that was parked in front of her home. The matter is under investigation.

3:33 PM: County Fire Control reported an activated fire alarm at a residence on Quaker Hill Drive. Croton Fire Department responded to the scene and determined that a faulty microwave oven was the cause of the alarm.

September 13

9:21 AM: There was a report from a resident of Old Post Road South that sometime overnight, two solar-powered outdoor lights were stolen from his yard. The matter is under investigation.

8:24 PM: There was a report from a contractor who was working at a residence on Arrowcrest Drive that a chain saw was stolen from inside his truck. The matter is under investigation.

September 14

8:50 AM: Croton police arrested a 32-year-old male with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, a felony. The same man was involved in an auto accident that resulted in property damage. At that time he produced identification from North Carolina that resulted in his arrest a day later. After the man arrested, he was taken to Cortlandt Town Court, where he was arraigned and later taken to the Westchester County Jail.

9:11 PM: There was a report about a noisy group of youths in the Brook Street area. Patrol responded to the scene and asked the group to leave the area without incident.

11:44 PM: There was a report from a resident of Hastings Avenue that while she was checking on a noise she heard in her house, she discovered that someone tried to push in a screen window located in the back of her home. The matter is under investigation.

September 15

1:11 PM: There was a report from an employee at the Skyview Nursing Home that approximately four days earlier, someone stole her cell phone. The matter is under investigation.

9:53 PM: There was a report from a resident of Brook Street about hearing gunshots. Patrol responded the scene and determined that the noise was a result of someone shooting paintballs at passing cars. The matter is under investigation.
