November 6

5:22 PM: There was a report from a resident of Mount Airy Road East that her outdoor grill was on fire. Croton Fire Department responded to the scene to extinguish said fire.

9:34 PM: There was a report from a member of the Hudson National Golf Club that money was stolen from his clubhouse locker. The matter is under investigation.

November 7

9:41 AM: Croton detectives a arrested a 16-year-old resident of Croton-on-Hudson with a variety of charges including third-degree Burglarly and Criminal Mischief third degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property fourth degree, all felonies, petit larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property fifth degree. All of the criminal counts against the youth are in connection with a string of burglaries to local businesses and thefts at Croton Harmon High School that were reported to police over the past several weeks, which were part of an ongoing investigation. After his arraignment, the youth was subsequently released on $4,000 bail pending an upcoming appearance in court.

November 8

7:09 PM: There was a report from a resident of Grand Street about a forced-entry burglary at his home. Nothing was reportedly missing and the matter is under investigation.

November 9

6:47 PM: There was a report from a resident of Croton-on-Hudson that an iPod was stolen from his backpack while he was on campus at Croton-Harmon High School. The matter is under investigation.

November 11

6:47 PM: There was a report from a resident of Riverview Trail that sometime overnight someone broke the windshield of his parked car with a rock. The matter is under investigation.

7:32 PM: Croton Fire Department responded to a call from a resident of Colabaugh Pond Road about a chimney fire at his home. Shortly after arriving at the scene, firefighters extinguished the fire.

November 12

12:05 PM: An employee at Croton Auto Park reported that sometime overnight a running board, an auto body part, was stolen from a vehicle in their storage lot. The matter is under investigation.

3:35 PM: Officer on patrol stopped a vehicle on Route 9 South near Senasqua Road for vehicle and traffic violations. Upon investigation, police charged the driver, a 17-year-old resident of Buchanan, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation. The passenger, a 17-year-old resident of Montrose, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance seventh degree for a prescription medication and Criminal Possession of Marijuana, both misdemeanors. The passenger was taken to Police HQ were he was later released after posting $200.00 bail pending an upcoming appearance in village court.
