Angelo and John's Beverage Company Opens in Croton to Distribute REDPOM

Crotonblog reader W.A. writes in with news of a new business opening in Croton-on-Hudson. The company, Angelo and John’s Beverage Company, distributes REDPOM, a bottled pomegranate and lemon tonic, from their new location at 1 Croton Point Avenue.

According to their website, they’ve “created a new slant on Pomegranate juice by adding a touch of Lemon juice and natural spice flavors. Light carbonation makes REDPOM an ideal non-alcoholic cocktail or a not-too sweet accompaniment to meals.” Additionally, their beverage has no added sugar and clocks in at 110 calories per 12 oz. serving (nutritional information).

Excitedly in his letter, W.A. proclaimed, “Wow! We just made a terrific Maritini/Cosmopolitan, using this new stuff called REDPOM we got at Zeytinia. It is a delicious pomegranate and lemon tonic distributed here by a company housed right here in town.” Also included in his correspondence was a drink recipe collection, obtained from business co-owner John Celeste himself, of four cocktails that can be made using REDPOM, which follow.
