April 15

1:12 PM: A resident of Palmer Avenue informed Croton police that her car, which was reportedly stolen from Grand Street last week was returned. She indicated that her brother lent the car to a friend without her knowledge.

1:59 PM: A resident of Sunset Drive reported that her handicapped parking pass was stolen from her car while parked at the Croton Harmon train station parking lot. The matter is under investigation.

4:29 PM: Croton firefighters responded to a call for mutual aid at the Turkey Hill trail on Route 118 by Yorktown Fire Department.

April 16

6:25 AM: Officer on patrol charged a 36-year-old female resident of Ossining with speeding and driving with a suspended license after being pulled over on Route 9. The man was later released after posting $100.00 bail pending an upcoming appearance in village court.

1:24 PM: Officer on patrol charged two Ossining men with unlawful possession of marijuana after being pulled over on Route 9. Additionally, the driver was also charged with driving with a suspended license. The driver of the vehicle was released after posting $200.00 bail while the passenger was released on his own recognizance and are expected to appear in village court to answer the charges.

April 18

11:10 AM: There was a report from a business owner on Old Post Road South that damage was recently done to the exterior railings of the building. The matter is under investigation.

April 19

5:25 PM: There was a report from a resident of Hunter Place that while she was walking on South Riverside Avenue, passengers in a passing black Hyundai car threw eggs at her. Patrol responded to the scene and were unable to locate the vehicle in question.

5:45 PM: There was a report from a resident of North Riverside Avenue that within the past hour, parked cars on the street were hit with eggs. The matter is under investigation.

6:44 PM: Officer on patrol charged a 29-year-old female resident of Ossining with driving without a license after being pulled over on Route 9 South. The passenger, a 29-year-old male resident of Ossining, who owns the vehicle, was also charged with facilitating driving without a license. Both persons were later released on their own recognizance pending an upcoming appearance in village court.

10:08 PM: Officer on patrol charged a 19-year-old male resident of Croton with driving without a license after being pulled over on Route 9 South. The man was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending an upcoming appearance in village court.

10:34 PM: There was a report about a loud and disorderly person on Maple Street. Patrol responded to the scene and located two 14-year-old youths, one from Croton and the other from Ossining. Both boys were taken to police HQ and later released to their parents.

April 20

1:42 AM: Officer on patrol pulled over a vehicle on Route 9 for a traffic violation. However, since the woman, a 38-year-old female resident of Peekskill would not cooperate with police, she was incarcerated overnight and later released on her own recognizance.

2:52 PM: Officer on patrol charged a 25-year-old male resident of Ossining with driving without a license after being pulled over on Route 9 North. The man was released on his own recognizance pending an upcoming appearance in village court.

3:55 PM: There was a report from an employee at the Goodwill store on South Riverside Avenue that money was missing from her purse. The matter is under investigation.

5:57 PM: There was a report of a burglary at a residence on Brook Street. Upon investigation, police determined that after forcibly entering the residence, someone stole an air conditioning unit and various consumer electronics. The matter is under investigation.

6:05 PM: There was a report from a passer-by about a suspected drug deal in progress in the Van Wyck shopping center parking lot near Dunkin’ Donuts. Patrol responded to the scene and subsequently charged two 18-year-old residents of Croton and Peekskill with criminal sale of marijuana, a class D felony, for selling drugs to two minors, one from Cortlandt and the other from Croton. All involved parties were taken to police HQ where the minors were later released to their parents while the two who were arrested were remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of posting $5,000 bail pending an upcoming appearance in village court.

April 21

3:17 AM: There was a report from a patron at the Grandstand bar that his car was stolen from outside the premises while parked on Grand Street. Patrol responded to the scene and after further investigation helped the owner of the car recall that he had in fact parked his car on Riverview Trail instead of Grand Street.
