No Lisas on the Board of Ed!

To the editor:

There will be no Lisas on the 2009/2010 Board of Ed. I am very confident in the abilities of Andrea Furey and Giuseppina Miller to keep things moving forward.

I wanted to thank all of you for your wonderful input and support. In particular, thanks go out to Demetra, Catherine, Elisa and Lynette for opening their homes for citizen Q&A sessions.

Thank you so much to the Boltin gals—Caroll for her sustenance these past weeks and Julia for her graphic design advice and moral support.

Thank you to Caron Shapiro for her tireless lauding of my wonderful qualities (!).

And..thank you to Kevin Davis for putting this insane idea into my head.

I am so proud of what we accomplished! I appreciate your patience during these past months and look forward to a continuing dialogue.
