11:28 AM: The Village of Croton-on-Hudson Recreation Department reported that some minor graffiti had been written on some garbage cans and light control boxes at Dobbs Park. The Recreation Department cleaned it up while the matter remains under investigation.

1:51 PM: There was a report from a resident of Croton-on-Hudson, that at some time during the day while their vehicle was parked in the Shop-Rite parking lot, their Croton Harmon parking pass was stolen from their car. The matter is under investigation.

Police Blotter - Week of December 5th

9:00 AM: A resident of Yorktown reported that sometime within the previous couple of days that her parking permit for the Harmon Station parking lot was stolen from her car, possibly while parked at the station. The matter is under investigation.

Police Blotter - Week of November 28th

7:43 PM: There was a report from a resident of Brook Street that there were youths on the porch of a neighboring house who were lighting fireworks. Patrol responded and was unable to locate the youths in question but did find a burned snack bag on the porch where the youths were reported to have been. The matter is under investigation.

Police Blotter - Week of November 21st

11:22 AM: Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department responded to a residence on Hale Hallow Road about a child who was locked in a room. Shortly after arrival, the Fire Department gained access to the room without incident.

November 22

6:06 AM: There was a report of a burglary at the Poritsky building on Albany Post Road as the front door was forced open and entry was gained. The matter is under investigation.

6:50 AM: Upon investigation of the area surrounding of the Poritsky building, Patrol found a forced open window at the Coldwell Banker Building on Albany Post Road. The matter is under investigation.

Police Blotter - Week of November 14th

6:00 PM: An alarm company reported an activated alarm at as residence on Glengary Road. Patrol and Fire Department responded and determined that the alarm activation was caused by smoke from a frying pan.

11:30 PM: There was a report of an assault at a residence on Palmer Avenue. Upon investigation, detectives later arrested (November 17, 2005 at 4:08 AM) a 32-year-old male of Palmer Avenue for assault 2nd degree, a felony, for causing a physical injury, a stab wound, from a knife, to the hand of a 27-year-old female resident of Peekskill. After the investigation, the assault victim sought medical treatment on her own. The attacker was held for arraignment by the judge, who set bail at $10,000. The Croton-on-Hudson man was remanded to the Westchester County Jail and is due back in Village court on November 23, 2005 at 9:30 AM.

Police Blotter - Week of November 7th

5:19 PM: There was a report from a resident of Half Moon Bay about a burning smell coming from his computer. Patrol and fire department responded to the scene and assisted without incident.

9:42 PM: There was a report from a resident from Brook Street that someone had just broken the front window of his residence. Patrol responded to confirm incident. The matter is under investigation.

Police Blotter - Week of October 31st

9:39 PM: There was a report from a resident of Batten Road of a brush fire on the side of the road. Patrol and Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire without incident.

10:51 PM: Officer on patrol discovered that at some time during the night, someone had spray painted a stop sign on Old Post Road North and Prospect Place. The matter is under investigation.

Police Blotter - Week of October 24th

4:15 PM: There was a report from a resident of Half Moon Bay about a fire in his home. Patrol and Fire Department responded to extinguish a fire located in the upstairs bathroom coming from the vanity. Fire Department determined that some burning incense was the caused the blaze.

4:30 PM: There was a report from a resident of Half Moon Bay about a strange smell coming from his basement. Fire Department responded and determined that someone nearby had been painting recently.

Police Blotter - Week of October 17th

2:34 PM: A resident of Mohegan Lake reported that while she was parked on South Riverside Avenue she had mistakenly locked herself out of her car, which had her two children inside. Patrol responded and gained entry to the vehicle without incident.

11:50 AM: There was a report from a resident of Melrose Avenue that sometime overnight someone had damaged her outdoor plants and fence. The matter is under investigation.

10:04 AM: There was a report from a resident of Nordica Drive that sometime overnight someone had thrown eggs at parked cars on the street. The matter is under investigation.

2:42 PM: There was a report of a burglary at a house under construction on Arrowcrest Drive where kitchen appliances were stolen. The matter is under investigation.
