8:16 AM: There was a report from a resident of Melrose Avenue about a stove that was leaking gas. Patrol and Croton firefighters responded to the scene and turned off the gas supply.

7:09 PM: There was a report from a resident of Cortlandt Manor that while she was patronizing the Croton Colonial Diner, someone broke into her parked car by smashing a window. The woman reported that her laptop computer was stolen as a result of the break-in. The matter is under investigation.

November 26
11:13 PM: There was a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Grand Street. Patrol responded to the scene and subsequently charged one of the residents, a 25-year-old man with Assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor. The man was taken to the Peekskill jail where he remained until the next day. After posting $3000.00 bail, he was released pending an upcoming appearance in village court.
November 28
2:43 PM: Officer on patrol arrested five individuals for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana after questioning them while the group was sitting in a parked car on Benedict Boulevard. All of the individuals, including three 16-year-olds, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, were taken to Police HQ. Additionally, one of the the 16-year-old was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, a misdemeanor. Subsequently, each of the persons was released to their parents pending an upcoming appearance in village court.

4:19 PM: A resident from Newtown Court reported a small brush fire near her home. By the time patrol and firefighters reached the scene, the woman already extinguished the fire.
November 21
9:33 AM: Croton police and firefighters were summoned to Bagels on Hudson in the Croton Commons shopping center on Maple Street due to a report of smoke in the store. Subsequently, the responders identified the source of smoke and proceeded to ventilate the space.
2:16 PM: Croton police were notified that an empty boat was adrift in the Hudson River near Croton Point Park. Later, the boat landed on the public beach in the park and was removed by Westchester County Police.

11:03 AM: There was a report from a woman of Croton-on-Hudson that her daughter, a 15-year-old student of Croton Harmon High School, was assaulted on school grounds earlier in the day. The matter is under investigation.

5:22 PM: There was a report from a resident of Mount Airy Road East that her outdoor grill was on fire. Croton Fire Department responded to the scene to extinguish said fire.
9:34 PM: There was a report from a member of the Hudson National Golf Club that money was stolen from his clubhouse locker. The matter is under investigation.
November 7
9:41 AM: Croton detectives a arrested a 16-year-old resident of Croton-on-Hudson with a variety of charges including third-degree Burglarly and Criminal Mischief third degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property fourth degree, all felonies, petit larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property fifth degree. All of the criminal counts against the youth are in connection with a string of burglaries to local businesses and thefts at Croton Harmon High School that were reported to police over the past several weeks, which were part of an ongoing investigation. After his arraignment, the youth was subsequently released on $4,000 bail pending an upcoming appearance in court.

October 30
11:35 AM: There was a report of a power failure in the area around the intersection of South Riverside Avenue and Benedict Boulevard. Patrol responded to the scene to confirm and subsequently reported that power was restored within 30 minutes.
10:52 PM: Officer on patrol pulled a vehicle over on North Riverside Avenue. Upon investigation, officer charged a male 18-year-old resident of Croton with petit larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, for stolen license plates affixed to the car. The driver was taken with a sixteen-year-old passenger to Police HQ. The driver was released on $500.00 bail pending an upcoming appearance in village court. The passenger was transferred to the Peekskill jail and released the next day into the custody of parents.
October 31
6:38 PM: There was a report by a passer-by that someone had lit a fire atop a wooden picnic table at Dobbs Park. Patrol responded to the scene, extinguished the fire while noting the resulting damage.

12:34 AM: There was a report from an employee at Zeytinia about a woman outside the store who was knocking at the store entrance. Patrol responded to the scene, located the woman, who was from Kentucky, and gave her a ride to the Croton Harmon Train Station.
1:20 AM: Police responded to a 911 call about a domestic dispute outside a residence on North Riverside Avenue. Upon arrival, police noticed a car suddenly leave the area and subsequently took chase. After pulling the driver, a 38-year-old male resident of Croton, over officer arrested the man for DWI, took him to police HQ where he was later released after posting $250.00 bail, pending an upcoming appearance in village court.
7:30 AM: There was a report from an employee at Croton Harmon High School about a fence behind the school that was damaged sometime overnight. The matter is under investigation.
9:15 AM: There was a report from a resident of Benedict Boulevard about a previously missing piece of lawn furniture that was found lined up underneath one of the windows of his home. The matter is part of an ongoing investigation about similar complaints.

4:30 PM: Police reponded to a report of an oversized tractor trailer was stuck under the Warren Road overpass on Route 9 North. Upon arrival to the scene police closed the right-hand lane thus causing significant traffic delays. NYSDOT officials were also summoned to inspect the bridge after the truck was moved, and found no significant damage as a result of the accident.
October 3
1:25 PM: There was a report from a resident of Church Street that someone had recently damaged the paint finish on her parked car. The matter is under investigation.
October 4
1:47 PM: There was a report from an employee at the Half Moon Bay Marina that someone recently damaged their bulletin board. The matter is under investigation.
11:55 PM: Officer on patrol pulled over a vehicle traveling on North Riverside Avenue for vehicle and traffic violations. Upon further investigation, police arrested the driver, a 39-year-old female resident of Montrose with DWI and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The woman was brought to police HQ for arraignment, subsequently taken to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of posting $50,000 bail, and is later due to appear in village court. The woman’s 5-year-old child, who was not restrained in the car, was held in care of police until the father picked him up.
