8:19 PM: There was a report from a resident of Truesdale Drive that sometime during past few hours someone threw eggs at his house and car. The matter is under investigation.
February 6
3:25 PM: There was a report about a group of youths throwing rocks at parked cars in the Maple Street area. Patrol responded to area and spoke to some youths while the matter is being referred to the youth officer.

10:08 PM: There was a report from a resident of Morningside Drive that in the past couple of hours someone had “egged” her car that was parked in the street in front of her residence. The matter is under investigation.

5:07 PM: There was a report from a resident of Teatown Road about a gas odor in her home. Croton Fire Department responded to the scene and checked the premises.

10:16 AM: Officer on patrol reported a new application of graffiti to a bench and garbage can at Dobbs Park on Maple Street. The matter is under investigation.
January 24
9:03 AM: Croton detective arrested a 54-year-old male resident of Cortlandt on a warrant for Grand Larceny of a stolen credit card. The man was charged, arraigned and taken to the Westchester County Jail. He is due in Village Court on January 31, 2007 at 9:30 AM.
4:44 PM: There was a report from a resident of Grand Street about an oven fire in her home. Patrol and Croton FD responded to the scene but found the fire to have been extinguished upon arrival.

11:52 AM: There was a report from a resident of Elmore Avenue about a door-to-door salesman who was selling food items from his truck. Patrol responded to the scene and advised the man in question to stop as he is required to have a permit.

2:47 PM: Alarm company reported an activated fire alarm at building 30 on MTA property. Patrol, Croton Fire Department and MTA police responded to the scene and determined that worker in the building caused the alarm.

8:27 AM: There was a report from a resident of Grand Street that sometime overnight the outdoor Christmas decorations that are on display in the front yard of her residence were damaged. The matter is under investigation.
3:02 PM: There was a report of a car fire on Route 9 South. Patrol and Croton Fire Department responded to the scene to extinguish the fire. Sometime later the car was towed from the roadway. There were no injuries reported.

10:50 PM: There was a report from a resident of Briarcliff Manor that she accidentally left her pocketbook in a shopping cart and when returned to the area her purse was missing. The matter is under investigation.

10:44 AM: Alarm company reported an activated water alarm at one of the Metro-North railroad buildings. Croton Fire Department responded to the scene and determined that a forklift had hit one the sprinklers and subsequently set off the fire alarm.

12:34 PM: Alarm company reported an activated smoke alarm at one of the Metro-North railroad buildings. Croton Fire Department responded top the scene but was unable to determine why the alarm was set off.

10:15 AM: There was a report from a resident of Farrington Road that sometime overnight while his car was parked in his driveway his car was “egged.” The matter is under investigation.

7:28 AM: There was a report of an injured raccoon on Albany Post Road. Patrol responded to the scene, destroyed the animal and subsequently notified Croton DPW to collect the remains.
12:48 PM: There was a report from a resident of Benedict Boulevard that sometime overnight someone let the air out of the tires on her car while it was parked in her driveway. The matter is under investigation.
