Update from The Journal News (03/21/05): Military academy helps with bay cleanup

The Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering at West Point has undertaken a project to look into the feasibility of removing the old railroad ties that are in the mud flats at Croton Bay. A blackhawk helicopter will be flying flew over Croton Bay tomorrow today in order to take aerial photographs of the railroad ties.

They should be arriving arrived over Croton Bay at approximately 4pm on March 9th.

They will did not be landing did not land but they will be flying flew low over the bay and parking lot in order to take pictures.

The helicopter should be was over the bay approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
