September 19
10:24: There was a report from an employee at a group home on Mount Green Road that her cell phone was stolen. The matter is under investigation.
3:35 PM: Croton Fire Department was dispatched to extinguish a small brush fire located in the center median of Route 9 near Senasqua Road.
September 20
10:08 AM: There was a report from a resident of Old Post Road South that sometime overnight a fence on his propert was damaged by a vehicle. The matter is under investigation.
9:18 PM: Croton Fire Department’s marine unit was dispatched to a assist a boater in the Hudson River near Georges Island.
September 21
11:28 AM: There was a report from a resident of Cortlandt Manor that his car was struck by a paintball near the intersection of Brook Street and North Riverside Avenue.
2:26 PM: There was a report from a resident of Rinehardt Lane about a strange odor coming from outside her home. Patrol responded to the scene and determined the the smell was a result of a burning cigarette found in one of her outdoor flower pots.
September 22
6:29 PM: There was a report to police about a car that was parking in different location for extended periods of time. Patrol responded to the scene and questioned the occupant of the vehicle only to find that the person was house shopping and wanted to observe the area.
10:28 PM: Croton police to Croton Point Park to assist in resolving a dispute among family members who were camping in the area.
September 23
1:28 AM: There was a report from a resident of Grand Street that sometime overnight someone entered his unlocked car and stole his wallet. The matter is under investigation.
8:09: There was a report of a loud explosion in the area of Nordic and Truesdale Drive. Patrol and Croton Fire Department responded to the scene and surmised that the explosion may have been the cause of an interruption of electrical service to several homes in the area. Con Edison was also summoned to make repairs.
2:47 PM: There was a complaint from a resident of Quaker Bridge Road about noise coming from nearby Black Rock Park. Patrol responded to the park and found two musicians playing a saxophone and a cowbell and subsequently asked them to leave the area.
September 24
6:10 AM: There was a report from an employee of the Black Cow Coffee Shop that sometime overnight someone broke into the store and stole a small amount of money. The matter is under investigation.
