8:16 AM: There was a report from a resident of Melrose Avenue about a stove that was leaking gas. Patrol and Croton firefighters responded to the scene and turned off the gas supply.
December 5
7:09 PM: There was a report from a resident of Cortlandt Manor that while she was patronizing the Croton Colonial Diner, someone broke into her parked car by smashing a window. The woman reported that her laptop computer was stolen as a result of the break-in. The matter is under investigation.
December 6
9:48 PM: There was a report from a resident that sometime overnight, someone stole gifts from her unlocked parked car. The matter is under investigation.
10:55 PM: There was a report from a resident of Penfield Avenue that his neighbor was operating a leaf blower. Patrol responded to the scene and advised the person in question that he was in violation of the village noise ordinance and to stop operating the blower.
December 9
12:04 AM: There was a report from a resident of Mount Airy Road that someone had recently throw eggs at her car while it was parked in her driveway. The matter is under investigation.
2:03 PM: There was a report from a resident of Bari Manor that the shut-off valve for the gas connection for her oven had broken thus causing a leak. Patrol and Croton firefighters responded to the scene and disconnected the gas supply.
2:08 PM: There was a report from an employee at the Croton Mini Deli that sometime overnight, someone stole several lottery tickets. The matter is under investigation.
