Croton Blog: Garden Road School Announces Upcoming Art Show and Benefit

The Garden Road School welcomes all to an opening reception for a student art show on Thursday, March 6, 2008, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at The Peekskill Coffee House, located at 101 South Division Street in Peekskill.

All are welcome to this family-oriented event, which will feature musical performances by WFUV radio featured-artist Kathleen Pemble, and Garden Road educators; a coffee house raffle; and a mural auction. The suggested donation is $5.

Proceeds benefit The Garden Road School’s arts in education programs for preschool through early elementary students. Located at 138 Maple Street in Croton-on-Hudson, the school’s mission is to educate children for a purposeful future through a vibrant curriculum that merges academic excellence, creativity and core human values.
