Croton Montessori School to Celebrate 'International Day' Thursday

Reader Elizabeth t P. writes in with news that the Croton Montessori School, which has been part of the Croton community for forty years, is celebrating International Day. As part of the public event, parents and children who come from many parts of the world, are coming to school in the ethnic dress of their culture.

The Croton Montessori School, located in the Unitarian Meeting House on Route 9A in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, teaches peace, kindness and generosity while maintaining that it makes a difference in the lives of the families and children. Open House at Croton Community Nursery School Announced

The Croton Community Nursery School (CCNS) will hold an Open House on Saturday, January 20, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the school, located at 25 Van Wyck Street in Croton-on-Hudson (map).

CCNS invites all interested families to come and meet the staff, talk to parents of current students, and tour CCNSs facilities. The event is a perfect opportunity to find out what CCNS is all about and to learn more about our schools philosophy and programs. Croton Community Nursery School, founded in 1945, is a co-operative, non-profit school for 2, 3, and 4-year-old children. Scholarships are available.
